I'm looking for recommendations betwen these boards. my local shop is offering me a 2008 Futura 133 NEW and a 2010 JP Fun Ride 130 for the same price. This will be my first short board and I'm a beginner to intermediate sailor.
Can somebody help me on this?

| I too would be interested in comments on the Fun Ride as I'm considering either the '10 120L or '09 125L. I'm also a beginner/intermediate. |

The Futura is faster, the JP jibes better. As a beginner you may like the JP better. An intermediate would probably prefer the Futura with its higher performance.
