you're a genius! you hit it right. if those hot vc girls were used to market windsurfing as cool again, we'd see a revival. hot women are attracted to money, power and coolness. windsurfing lost all of this, sadly....

Recently your posts are nothing more than bating and very, very insensitive to over half the population of the world. If you wish your pictures and body type to be torn apart by some stranger on the Internet, please provide pictures of yourself in the same poses and wearing only your underwear. Someone will be happy to oblige. Better yet, why not expose what you do and your actual identity so that others can make it personal in the same way you enjoy?

Windsurfing is open to all and all are welcome. Okay, well, maybe he is pushing for so called "hot" chics who windsurf instead of just "chics" who windsurf.
But we all know Diada, Iballa, Junko, Sara-Quita, Nyra, Karen, Anne-Marie, Zoe Najm.... We know they rip and we know they're hot, too. (okay, so maybe most of us are too old to really look at Sara-Quita in that way, but there are some on this forum I am sure)....
Personally - and please don't take this the wrong way - I think sexiness sells. Sexy ladies, sexy sails, sexy boards, edgy maneuvers, some hip-hop influenced style in the clothing and gear.... And when we see pics of Josh ripping at Cabo Verde; or Marcilio Browne doing an arial; or Thomas Traversa tweaking a jump or a wave 360: those are sexy, too. Young kids who windsurf look up to the stars because they think they are sexy - that they've got mojo, skills, sex appeal, whatever you want to call it.
Women are drawn into the sport as well if they see beautiful women ripping it up. If they're ripping it up in a bikini, that's sexy; more importantly, it's awesome they are charging it. If they're ripping in a wetsuit... well, I personally think it's even sexier.
I don't think a thread like this is necessarily degrading to women. so far the posts have been positive, non-threatening, and relatively harmless.
More women would windsurf, too, in my opinion, if they saw more women - "hot" or "not" - ripping out on the water.
Fortunately the mags have begun to take notice and more women sailors have been getting shots in the mags: and they aren't just TNA shots, either. Ingrid LaRouche, for instance, has some pics of her ripping. Katie Kraft; Karen Baxter (not just doing the lame model thing anymore, thank goodness); Tatiana Howard....
